The Boss BR-80 Micro BR is a pocket-sized digital recorder that can record up to 8-tracks but also allows a further 64 Virtual Tracks for auditioning different/alternative takes. In fact the Boss BR-80 has three distinctive mode settings, firstly as a dedicated multi-track recorder (MTR Mode) then as a Jam-along music file player (E-band mode) and also a live recorder for lectures/presentations or as a play anywhere sketch-pad recorder that uses on-board high quality stereo condenser microphones (Live Mode).
The multi-track mode allows simultaneous playback of 8 digital audio tracks, and with the bundled eBand Song List Editor software, you can import CD, MP3, and WAV audio files from a computer via USB. The Centre Cancel function can be used to minimise the volume of pre-recorded vocals and solos to allow you to play and sing-along with the backing track. The eBand mode will also let you record your performance adjust playback speed and/or pitch as desired.
The Boss BR-80 Micro BR has over 40 types of COSM amp models that provide instant access to a wide range of powerful guitar and bass sounds, the preset patches allow novices and pros alike to enjoy instant high-quality sounds, while experienced users can tweak parameters in micro detail for the ultimate tonal control.
