Samson AL2/AR2 Airline Micro Wireless Camera System

The Samson AirLine Micro Wireless Camera System is true micro system and consists of three parts - a Samson AirLine AL2 belt pack transmitter, a Samson AirLine AR2 shoe-mountable receiver, and a USB-powered Samson AR2DT charging base. It also includes a Samson LM-10 omni-directional lavalier microphone.

What's particularly impressive about the Samson AirLine Micro Wireless Camera System, aside from its portable size, is its impressive 7-hour battery life. And since the Samson AR2 receiver outputs via a mini-jack connector, the whole system is ideal for DSLR-based rigs.

The Samson AirLine Micro AL2 is a lightweight belt-pack transmitter with an LM10 omni-directional lavalier microphone, this is powered by a Lithium ion re-chargeable battery and is good for 7-8 hours of operation. Samson have designed the transmitter so that just a single button selects Power, Mute and Volume.

The Samson AirLine Micro AR2 is a low-profile receiver measuring 2.36 x 1.67 x 0.51-inches, just like the transmitter it's also powered by a Lithium ion re-chargeable battery and therefore is also good for 7-8 hours of operation. Additionally the receiver has a USB DC input for power and charging the unit and features a 3.5mm balanced microphone / line level output.

The third element in this micro wireless system is the Samson AirLine Micro AR2DT Double Dock, it provides a secure base for the AL2 transmitter and AR2 receiver and charges both units when required. It features a USB DC input for both operational power and the charging facility. The AR2DT features a 3.5 mm unbalanced output, so the AR2 receiver can be securely mounted during operation.

Included with the Samson AirLine Micro wireless camera system ar a carry case, standard hot shoe mount, 3.5mm and XLR camera connectors, AC adapter and charging cables.
