Line 6 UX1 Pod Studio

Line 6?s studio series has rapidly become a big name in home studio recording, and the UX1 is the most popular model in their range.  This lightweight, well built interface is designed to make life easy for guitarists.  Simply by plugging into your computer via the USB and loading the software, you will be able to access all of Line 6?s tones and effects and record to almost any piece of popular recording software. The UX1 features a dedicated guitar input, a balaned XLR mic input, 1/4" jack line in and out and a headphone socket...allowing you to record almost anything. The Pod Studio UX1 is fully USB 1.1 and 2.0 compatible and features up to 24-bit/96 kHz recording with a very low signal to noise ratio when recording guitar (12dB more dynamic range than similar interfaces).  Bundled with the UX1 are copies of Ableton's Live Lite and Line 6 RiffWorks recording software to get you started, but this interface will work with any of the popular recording software such as Garageband, Logic or Cubase.

Pod Farm

POD Farm is Line 6's RTAS/AU/VST plug-in software, delivering POD tone and amp modelling on your PC or MAC.  Vastly improved from the previous Gear Box software, Pod Farm features 18 guitar amp models based on all the classics such as the Fender Deluxe Reverb, Marshall JCM800 and Vox AC30.  You also get 5 bass amps,  29 guitar and bass cabinets and 29 stompboxes, also modelled on famous pedals such as the Ibanez Tubescreamer and MXR Phase 90.  

Pod Farm allows you to completely customise your signal flow, pre or post amplifier allowing guitarists to design and play through their dream amp and pedal setup.  Every element of the amps are fully adjustable, just like the real thing, allowing you to tweak your tone to perfection...or if you can't be bothered to make your own sound, just choose from over a thousand presets that Pod Farm offers!
