IK Multimedia Amplitube iRig for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch

With this Amplitube iRig interface from IK Multimedia, you can plug your guitar into your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad and jam anywhere with high quality guitar and bass tones right in the palm of your hand. Simply connect the iRig interface to your mobile device via the headphone jack, plug in your guitar and headphones/speakers, load the App and start rocking! The iRig interface features a 1/4" jack input suitable for guitars and bass, and a 1/8" mini-jack stereo output, which can be connected to headphones, amplifiers, or powered speakers.

After purchasing the iRig, you'll need to download the software of your choice from the Apple App Store. Based on the world renowned AmpliTube software, the iRig software comes in 3 different versions:

• The FREE version includes 3 stompboxes, 1 amp & cabinet, and 2 microphones.
• The LE version (priced at £1.79) includes 5 stompboxes, 1 amp & cabinet and 2 microphones. More gear can be added to FREE and LE through an in-app purchase of a-la-carte models with stompboxes and amplifiers & cabinets.

IK Multimedia i-Rig Microphone

IK Multimedia's new iRig Microphone is the new sister product to the original iRig audio interface, and serves as a handheld condenser mic that can be plugged directly into your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. 

The iRig Mic features a highly uni-directional condenser-electret capsule, with a three-level gain switch making it suitable for recording material at a range of different volumes. It connects to your iOS device's headphone output, with the dual mini-jack connector, enabling you to plug in headphones at the same time so that they can be used for monitoring.

The iRig Mic is complemented by three free IK Multimedia software apps. Some of you may have heard about AmpliTube Free already, but there's also VocaLive, a suite of real-time vocal effects, and iRig Recorder, a simple audio recording tool.
