The Sennheiser HD215 headphones are a popular choice with DJ's due to the rotatable ear cup for one-ear listening and the single-sided coiled cable, which makes them ideal for DJ monitoring. The closed ear pads provides excellent attenuation of ambient noise whilst the foam and leatherette padding ensures maximum comfort whilst wearing them for long periods.
The black silver and grey design is pleasing on the eye whilst the rugged plastic ensures a degree of protection during everyday use. The HD215's come with a convenient storage pouch and the single sided coiled cable is detachable. This model comes with a standard ¼" jack that has an integrated mini-jack stereo adapter, Sennheiser offer a two year manufacturer's guarantee with the HD215's.

These will be a popular choice with DJ’s due to the ability to fold back one of the ear pads for live mix monitoring. The sound is good but the frequencies are “coloured” to enhance the listening experience, however this shouldn’t be of great concern to DJ’s.
Sennheiser maintain that these headphones remain comfortable even after several hours use and a convenient feature is the ability to detach the jack cord for storage and transportation.
Spatially the stereo imagery is quite wide which means that the ears don’t become fatigued so quickly and Sennheiser are offering a two year guarantee with this model.
