Samson S 4-output Headphone Amplifier
The S-Amp is part of Samson?s S-MINI series, a range of compact and affordable outboard audio equipment ideal for live or studio use. The S-Amp is a 4 channel headphone amplifier ideal for home recording where more than one headphone feed is required. Unlike other headphone amps that are contained in a 19? rack unit, this unit is much smaller, taking up less valuable studio space. Its sturdy metal construction means it will also stand up to any abuse a gigging musician can give it.
Individual Volume Controls
The S-Amp gives you up to 4 individual headphone feeds. This allows you to give each musician the volume that suits them the best?for example, your drummer?s always going to want loads more volume than your bassist! The S-Amp gives you four stereo ¼? headphone jack outs and one ¼? stereo jack input. This allows easy integration with most mixing desks and recording units.

It’s hard to say anything exciting about a headphone amp, it won’t make you sound better, it won’t do anything cool…but it is a necessity to most studios. The S-Amp does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s easy to use, is a small and tidy looking box and you don’t lose quality or signal, plus, it’ll give you a really loud headphone level.
