Here's a clever new product from those boffins at Roland - a mobile synthesizer ... Based around the succesful Juno D model this beauty weighs in at a paltry 5.2Kg for a full 61 note keyboard synthesizer and is therefore as the title suggests very mobile and transportable.
The Juno Di has over 1000 sounds on board, it can be run on alkaline batteries and there's even the facility to plug-in a microphone to sing along to Standard MIDI File backing tracks via the in-built song-player. Nedless to say this will be the ideal keyboard for buskers - you just need the additional Roland Street Cube amp for amplification and away you go.
There are however other uses for a keyboard as light as the Juno Di, for those who need to be accompanied at all times by a keyboard for spontaneous moments of inspiration the Juno Di is the perfect choice - it's also a great option as a travel instrument and will allow you to sit and play/compose on your favourite sun drenched beach...
Aside from the obvious portability advantages this is also a damn fine synthesizer with some great contemporary sounds,there's even a software editor provided to alow you to modify and tailor the sounds to your own requirements.
The task of finding sounds is made easy by the addition of the category buttons which split the sounds into identifiable groups ...
