The Nevada NK009 is a great value for money portable keyboard, crammed with features and sounds, and is our top selling keyboard under £100.00.

Features : -

Firstly there's the sounds - 136 in total and not counting the sound effects, you can check these out whilst listening to the 40 demo songs through the on-board twin stereo speakers that are equipped with a bass boost system to enhance the lower register frequencies on the NK009.

The 61 note keyboard is touch sensitive and allows the user to play 1 fingered chords or use the "1 key follow" function where the automated backing tracks follow the key changes made by single fingered notes.

Thanks to the on-board sequencer you can record and then playback a performance with assistance from the keyboard's metronome, there are also rhythm and percussion parts which themselves can be programmed using a variety of pre-programmed drum fills, introduction and ending parts and you can select from up to 64 different tempo speeds.

The keyboard can be split into two halves with a different sound on each half and two sounds can be layered togther and played simultaneously via the "Dual Timbre" function.

The NK009 has a series of 6 chord memory buttons where chord progressions can be stored and then activated at the push of a button and just like a professional keyboard you can add pitch bend, vibrato and sustain to each of the tones whilst the "Transpose" button will allow you to raise or lower the key of a song to suit.

You can connect this keyboard to a computer via the on-board MIDI port (please be aware that you will need a USB/MIDI interface and appropriate cables to do this) and the keyboard can run on either 8 x "D" type batteries (not supplied) or the included AC adapter, the keyboard also comes supplied with a small detachable music sheet holder ...

Gig-stig

Age: ??

Location: The darkest depths of the Nevada warehouse

Whenever a child or grandchild happens upon a new "fad" parents and grandparents are often reluctant to initially spend significant sums of money on the past-time in case the child suddenly gets bored or dis-interested - at which point any investment becomes a waste of money. With this attitude in mind, Nevada have created the NK009 - an entry-level electronic home keyboard that's packed with features and yet is priced so that it will last the user a fair period of time before it needs to be upgraded, and also is only a minimal investment if the user suddenly decides it's not for them ...

Frankly, it's a mystery how Nevada have managed to cram all of the features into this modestly priced keyboard, in fact a couple of the options available on the NK009 are only normally associated with keyboards costing 5 times as much ... The on-board speakers mean that there is no investment required in other ancillary equipment to play the keyboard through and the headphone socket means that Mum and Dad can still get a little peace and quiet when required ...

The Nevada NK009 is an ideal first keyboard, it has some good sounds on-board, plenty of facilities to keep enthusiastic musicians busy for hours on end and won't break the bank. It also works on batteries and can be taken almost anywhere plus the keyboard itself is light enough to carry about - although you might want to think about a Gig-bag for it ... See the Nevada NK009 Electronic Home Keyboard now at the Nevada Music Warehouse ...
