Released at the 2011 NAMM show the Roland RD300-NX stage piano packs most of the features available on the flagship RD700-NX range but in a lighter and more affordable package ... Roland have created a new Ivory-feel G-keyboard that also includes escapement and have amended the mechanical and electrical hammer technology to provide a keyboard that weighs a lot less than the RD700 and is therefore much more transportable ...

The Roland RD300NX also inherits some top-of-the-range features from the RD700 series including Roland's SuperNatural sound and Sound Focus technologies, aside from this there's the Piano Designer feature which allows the user to custom design their own piano sound  via the parameters shown on the LCD screen.

Another handy and practical inclusion is the "One touch" piano button that recalls a Grand or Electric piano at the touch of a button, however aside from the pristine acoustic and electric piano sounds on the Roland RD300-NX there's also a range of outstanding natural and electronically synthesized instrument and keyboard sounds with up to 200 pre-sets.

The RD300-NX has 88 keys and is 128 note polyphonic when all of the 16 MIDI parts are in use, there are 78 types of digital effects, 60 user memory patches and with the in-built drum samples you can create up to 200 rhythm patterns.
