As flagship model in the Roland HP range of digital pianos, the HP307 offers the richest and most dynamic piano sounds coupled with a top of the range keyboard, providing the most realistic playing feel to date. The biggest leap forward with the HP307 is the addition of Roland?s SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine, as found on the revolutionary V-Piano. This breakthrough technology models a piano's sound rather than relying on samples, offering unprecedented sound, response, and expression. The piano tone changes seamlessly and naturally based on touch and key range, with perfectly smooth decay.
The HP-307 also features Roland's top-of-the-range PHA III (progressive hammer action) keyboard with escapement which, when combined with the SuperNATURAL Piano tones, faithfully translates every nuance into an accurate, natural sound. This stylishly designed home piano has a powerful speaker system, and is ably assisted by a clear and easy-to-understand operation panel.
This recently developed keyboard technology reproduces the real feel of ivory for the natural keys and ebony for the sharps. It also offers the same natural response as a grand piano, with a heavier touch in the lower range and lighter touch in the upper, and with lighter resistance on pianissimo passages and stronger resistance on fortissimo just like a well-maintained acoustic grand. It even faithfully reproduces the escapement ?click feel? of a grand-piano action.
Unlike traditional direct-emitting loudspeakers, the HP307 employs a unique audio system that allows diffused Omni directional sound dispersion and by using this method, the user and the listener perceive the sound just as they would from a real acoustic grand. Volume issues are easily dealt with by simply adjusting the volume of the internal sound system up or down to suit the environment. Other features on the HP-307 include "Piano Designer" which allows the player to customise the piano tone to suit their individual taste, "Twin Piano" mode, a metronome and USB connectivity, allowing MP3 and MIDI file playback.
