The new Roland HP305 digital piano utilises the recently launched SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine (as featured on the revolutionary V-Piano), providing the most natural piano and expressive piano tones to date. The HP-305's 88 note progressive hammer action, PHA II keyboard (with escapement) reproduces the natural playing feel found in grand pianos but built into a smaller footprint compact, high-quality cabinet. This digital piano supports what Roland have dubbed the "Classic Position" which creates a piano-like appearance, and includes 3 pedals with traditional designs, sturdy front legs and convenient music rest with music holders.
The HP-305 is the standard level model in the HP piano range and great attention has been paid to its sound quality, touch, and design. It comes with an onboard metronome function and a 3-track recorder to help you make progress by recording your performance for analysis. The "Twin Piano" feature - where effectively the keyboard is split into 2 "Virtual" pianos that can be played by two people simultaneously is convenient for one-on-one lessons with a piano teacher. The HP305 also features a USB socket, allowing you to connect a USB memory device to play MIDI files or MP3's through the pianos on board speaker system. It is also possible to connect an optional CD player, allowing you to play along to your favourite CD's.
A centralised control panel with dedicated buttons assures easy and intuitive operation, by connecting two headphones, two players can practice independently at the same time. And finally Roland add a "green" feature by making sure that energy-wise the HP-305 achieves low power consumption when switched on whilst delivering a dynamic piano sound that is both natural and classically toned.
