Akai LPK25 USB Controller Keyboard
Here's a tiny AKAI keyboard that's the ideal partner for a home recording set-up based around a laptop computer or where space is at a minimum. The AKAI LPK25 is less than 13 inches across and weighs less than a pound in weight - it will therefore easily fit into a laptop case or backpack for optimum portability.
The keyboard itself consists of 25 miniature, velocity-sensitive keys that have what could only be described as a "synth" type action. The Akai LPK 25 has an on-board arpeggiator, which steps through chords automatically, assisting musicians when creating on-the-fly melodic ideas. Sustain, octave up and down and tap tempo controls complete out the LPK25's user friendly layout.
Four sounds can be permanently stored in the memory for instant recall and this product is plug and play out of the box with both Mac and PC formats and does not require the loading of drivers.
