Service Department - Overview
Nevada Music has an on site service facility which carries out repairs across a huge
variety of musical equipment and guitars. Our experienced engineer can repair a
wide range of amplifiers and other equipment to a high standard and all repairs
are covered by a three month guarantee.
Instrument Setup & Tuning
As well as equipment repairs we offer a restringing
and setup service for your electric, acoustic and
bass guitars. If your instrument requires a fret
dress or repair to a broken headstock we have an
experienced guitar luthier who we call on to
do the work.
All work is charged at competitive rates and we will advise customers if we think that any repair is not cost effective so you
have a choice if you want to proceed with any repair.
PAT Testing
PAT or Portable Appliance Testing is an electrical safety test on any item of electrical equipment that plugs into a mains
electricity supply.
For people who gig or use their equipment in any public hall or building must have proof that the equipment being used is
electrically safe. If your equipment has not been PAT tested you may not be able to use your equipment on their premises.
Here at Nevada we offer a comprehensive PAT testing service across a wide range of electrical musical equipment.
Guitar Repairs
From time to time your guitar may develop a problem. In most cases it is simply down to a broken connection, but with our expert
guitar repair service we can get you going again quickly.
We also offer a guitar restring, tuning and setup service for those who don't feel confident about doing it themselves. For more
complex repairs such as body repairs, fret dressing and even paint work repairs, we have an experienced local luthier who will carry
out the work.
Equipment Repairs
Our onsite engineer will repair most items of musical equipment from amplifiers to speakers. Please call us to discuss any
repairs that you need done.
Some more complex digital equipment may have to be returned to the manufacturer, but we will be happy to arrange that for you.
All our service and repair work is completed to the highest standard and will be fully guaranteed for a period of three months.
