We've all heard of Bose right ...? We probably associate them with high end domestic hi-fi and for the older musicians amongst us we can probabaly remember back to the 70's and 80's when Bose had their own PA systems. Bose's premium sound system for musicians combines the L1 Model II system and T1 ToneMatch audio engine this professional sound system provides wide coverage, smooth tonal balance and a suite of studio-class effects and tone-shaping tools and it's packed with proprietary Bose technologies designed to improve your amplified sound. Spatial Dispersion and Articulated Array speaker technologies in the loudspeaker produce wide, uniform sound coverage whilst the 24 small drivers are arranged using Articulated Array speaker technology in a slim, vertical enclosurecreating nearly 180 degrees of horizontal coverage and consistent tonal balance.
The loudspeaker's two-piece, interlocking design makes for quick and easy setup, breakdown and transport and the integrated power amplifiers in the power stand provide clean, precise amplification for L1 Model II system with up to two B1 bass modules. Meanwhile the ToneMatch port on the power stand provides connectivity for digital audio and power connection to the ToneMatch audio engine.The analogue inputs, trim controls and signal/clip LED are used for line-level analogue input via quarter inch jack cables, however these can also be used for instruments or other audio sources like DJ mixers, MP3 players, computers or DVD systems.
The B1 Bass module has a dedicated bass out for amplified bass output signals to either one or two B1 bass modules, the Bose L1 system automatically adjusts equalisation appropriately when the bass modules are connected, whilst the bass line out delivers post-DSP bass signal output and the L1's power stand accepts quarter inch jack cables -which can be used to connect the powered B1 subwoofer, an additional amplification system or the Bose PackLite amplifier with up to two additional bass modules.
The unit's retractable legs provide stability for the streamlined L1 Model II power stand and loudspeaker array, 4 retractable legs fold out of the power stand simultaneously for quick set-up and compact transportion options.The integrated ToneMatch audio engine and audio technologies provide four independent channels featuring Bose's largest library of ToneMatch instrument and microphone presets, proprietary zEQ and a complete suite of studio-class effects and sound processors ...
The Aux mode (channels 1 & 3) send the channels' dry, pre-fader or post-fader audio to the aux output for connection to additional L1 systems or recording devices, independent level controls can be used to configure optimal signal output, channel volume, mute and FX mute (1 4/5) and for adjusting individual channel volume.The Phantom power capability applies +48V power to input channels 1 & 3 to drive specific microphones, whilst the ToneMatch cable transfers audio signals and provides power to ToneMatch audio engine from L1 Model II power stand.
