Reviews
This incredibly lightweight system is ideal for business meetings, open mic nights fitness instructors taking classes, or karaoke. It transports really well and it all packs-down into a briefcase-sized package. As an actual PA system it's not going to sound like a the Turbo Sound rig used by Pink Floyd, but is certainly more than adequate for the type of usage specified.
This system is manufactured to a budget, the positive feature to that decision is that the control parameters and functionality have been designed to be quite basic - which in turn means that its simplicity becomes an advantage for novices and techophobes.
The Peavey Messenger Lite would probably be OK for a solo-singer playing small venues or as an in-house corporate PA for companies, at exhibitions or presentations, or additionally school assemblies. However in truth. it's not really suitable for a band scenario as the power rating, speaker size and frequency response wouldn't emulate the band's sound in a positive way - in other words it's probably not man-enough to do the job properly.
It is however great value for the amount of money that this system costs and the quality of sound that it projects ...
