The Shure PG48 has a multitude of uses; it can be used for spoken word at presentations or for those with a limited budget makes a good vocal microphone. As with any Shure product, you get great performance and reliability. Comes with a choice of connecting lead, microphone clip and storage bag.
Features of the PG48
The Shure PG48 has been tuned specifically for vocal applications. Featuring a cardioid polar response pattern, this mic picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone, meaning it is less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings. This mic?s dynamic cartridge has a rugged coil, capable of handling extreme volume levels without distortion, whilst still delivering a smooth frequency response. A handy On/Off switch has been added for onstage control and the steel mesh ball grille houses an integral "pop" filter, reducing explosive breath sounds and wind noise.

The Shure PG48 is a reasonably inexpensive multi-purpose mic, but we were really impressed at how well it performed. You can use it for almost anything, vocals, guitars, drums etc. and it’ll perform way above the level that a mic of this price should do! It’s cool that it comes with a lead and clip, allowing you to use it right out of the box. If you need a great value for money, general purpose mic, you could do a lot worse than the PG48.
