Livewire LWMS100 Microphone Boom Stand Black
 
Livewire make a range of musicians accessories including a variety of audio and MIDI cables and now also the LWMS100 boom stand for microphones. The stand itself is made from hard wearing strong and sturdy tubular steel and then plastic coated in black, the boom arm screws onto the top of the upright microphone stand and has adjustable length and comes with screw-in clamps to hold the arm in the required position.
 
The upright has 3 tubular feet splayed out in a tripod format with rubber caps on the end of the tube for stability, grip and to prevent handling noise moving the stand when used with a live microphone, there is also a screwable clamp to adjust the telescopic height of the stand. A nice touch is the inclusion of cable clips to keep the microphone cable pinched tight to the side of the stand so that cable tangles can be prevented ...
