HardTune gives you the stepped pitch correction effect popular in plug-ins. But this implementation is designed for live performance and allows the key of the piece to be detected in real-time via the instrument input, or stored in a preset with the key and scale buttons. On top of being one of the most portable vocoders available for live use, it sports two unique improvements. The rez control gives you classic low band-count vocoder sounds, or dial-up it gives you crystal clean vocoding sounds that don?t require pre-processing of the carrier input. It includes a voice controlled synth that allows you to vocoder without anything plugged into the instrument input ? you don't even need to play another instrument. HardTune and Vocoder have been matched with TC-Helicon's adaptive Tone algorithm for smooth vocal dynamics and shape, as well as the Transducer block to add distortion and steep filtering popular with these modern effects...all in a simple to use pedal.
