Well LED's lights have been around for a while now but until now, we've all been fairly disappointed with the results. The new range of Prolight LED par cans have several neat tricks up its sleeve
Using the familiar PAR 64 can they squeeze 183 ultra bright 10mm LED's and a controller into the body. The great advantage of these LED cans is being able to colour mix in one unit by varying the LED's intensity, offering an almost unlimited range of colours.
There's also virtually no heat output so no more burnt fingers or frizzled wigs. Its built in mic can follow the music so you can just plug it into the mains and let it get on with it. They can be linked together via dmx cables to sync a light show in master/slave mode or you can use a standard external DMX controller...and with a led life of over 100,000 hours, you can forget about replacing bulbs.
