Where LED Par cans tend to have a fairly narrow beam angle, the Stratos Wash has a much wider spead which means it will light a stage when close to the stage and can be placed close to the performers ,ideal for gigs where the lights have to go right next to the stage or on the floor next to a performer. It's built in controller allows for accurate sound to light from its built in mic and also a very classy fade function where is can be set to wash smoothly through colours, ideal for a less DJ look.

Squeezing in 336 ultra bright 10mm LEDs and a controller into the body, the Stratos can mix an almost unlimited colour palette, providing smooth washes and even light distribution. The Stratos colour wash is amazingly energy efficient, with virtually no heat output...so no more burnt fingers. Its built in mic can follow the music so you can just plug it into the mains and let it get on with it. It can also be linked together with other lights via dmx cables to sync a light show in master/slave mode or you can use a standard external DMX controller.

Location: The darkest depths of the Nevada warehouse

This is a best seller in-store and I can't recommend it highly enough. Being able to place it almost anywhere on stage, the wide beam angle, vivid colours and the fade function make it a real light solution for bands, solo artists or duo's looking for lighting without the hassle. A pair would be a great place to start a lighting rig.

The Prolight Stratos colour wash is very energy efficient and can create stunning colour washes with the minimum of fuss. Easy and fun to use, it would suit any band or DJ looking for a compact stage lighting solution. Oh, and the LED?s are rated at 100,000 hours use which I work out to be over 11 years on stage!!
