Product Information
Ernie Ball Earthwood Acoustic Extra Light 10s
Earthwood Acoustic strings are manufactured on behalf of Ernie Ball who?s name and reputation is synonymous with quality guitar strings going back over several decades. Earthwood is effectively the ?acoustic? division of the Ernie Ball range of guitar strings and the Ernie Ball logo is clearly displayed on the front of the string pack. This surely must give musicians a certain amount of comfort and confidence in the product knowing that the acoustic range of strings are also manufactured to the same Ernie Ball standard of quality and excellence.
The core materials involved in the manufacturing of the Earthwood strings are copper and zinc with the percentage split being 80% copper and the remaining 20% zinc. These materials have fine acoustic and resonant qualities and are wire wrapped around tin plated hex shaped core wire, this process helps to keep the string stable and to produce a full range of sonic frequencies via the vibration of the string when plucked or strummed.

The way that the metal/nickel/bronze strings interact with the richly toned wood is for me the sweetest sound and the only way to retain that tone is to regularly re-string your acoustic with new strings ...
Talking of strings, I can remember touring
The laboured point I am making here is that strings do matter and can sometimes make or break your buying decision when trying a new guitar. They can also turn a tired sounding acoustic into a vibrant, resonant beauty that re-ignites your passion for playing, Earthwood strings can do this for you - you just need to take the plunge and try'em out ... Earthwood Strings are available now from the Nevada Music Warehouse ...
