Yamaha Pacifica 012 Guitar Pack Dark Metallic Blue
This starter pack from Yamaha features a Pacifica 012 model electric guitar, a GA10 practice amplifier and all the other bits you need to get you going. The packs are available with guitars in three different colours - Metallic Blue - like the one here along with Metallic Red and Black.
Yamaha Pacifica 012 Electric Guitar
Based on the best selling Pacifica 112, this guitar is made from an Agathis wood body with a bolt-on Maple neck and Rosewood Fret board. The pick-up configuration features a hum-bucker located at the bridge with two single coil models in the middle and neck positions. The pick-ups are managed via a master volume and master tone control along with a 5 way blade type selector switch. The bridge has an integrated tremolo unit in a vintage style design, the aesthetics of the instrument are completed by the large Pacifica headstock and a white plastic scratch plate.
Yamaha GA15 Amplifier
The pack includes a 15w amplifier, the Yamaha GA15. This amp has a 15w output, is small and compact featuring clean and drive channels and has a headphone socket...ideal for practicing into the wee hours.

Although similar to the S-type guitar the Yamaha Pacifica is subtly different enough to make it an instantly recognisable instrument. The Pacifica's design and build quality has won several awards from UK retailers having been voted "Most Popular Product" and "Best value for money product".
The 012 is the entry level model and is available in Black, Red or Blue. This guitar plays astoundingly well when the price is taken into consideration, I will openly admit that I have tried guitars at twice the cost of the Pacifica 012 that don't play nearly as well.
The sound is pretty good too for a starter model - although the pick-ups can be upgraded at some point in the future should you feel the need to do so. This is a great starter guitar for youngsters who have been bitten by the guitar bug and parents will have the cosy peace of mind that an established and credible brand like Yamaha offer great value for money with this model.
