Yamaha Pacifica 012 Guitar Pack Black

This starter pack from Yamaha features a Pacifica 012 model electric guitar, a GA10 practice amplifier and all the other bits you need to get you going. The packs are available with guitars in three different colours - Black - like the one here along with Metallic Red and Metallic Blue.

Yamaha Pacifica 012 Electric Guitar

Based on the best selling Pacifica 112, this guitar is made from an Agathis wood body with a bolt-on Maple neck and Rosewood Fret board. The pick-up configuration features a hum-bucker located at the bridge with two single coil models in the middle and neck positions.  The pick-ups are managed via a master volume and master tone control along with a 5 way blade type selector switch. The bridge has an integrated tremolo unit in a vintage style design, the aesthetics of the instrument are completed by the large Pacifica headstock and a white plastic scratch plate.

Yamaha GA10 Amplifier

The pack includes a 10w amplifier, the Yamaha GA10.  This amp has a 10w output, is small and compact featuring clean and drive channels and has a headphone socket...ideal for practicing into the wee hours.

Accessories

What would be the point of having a guitar and amp if you didn't have to the bits to make them work together?!  The Yamaha 012 starter pack also contains a guitar lead and strap, a gig bag to protect the guitar and a tuition dvd to help you learn your first few chords...it even comes packaged in an attractive (and if you're buying this as a present for someone, very easy to wrap up!) presentation box. 

This is a great starter pack with a high quality guitar and everything else you need to get you playing.

Location: The darkest depths of the Nevada warehouse

There are plenty of starter packs out there to choose from, but the Yamaha 012 has to be one of the best starter guitars there is.  It has a very high build quality, based on it's big brother the Pacifica 112 (consistenly voted best guitar under £200 in magazine polls) it has a very well finished, playable neck with great action.  The 10w amp won't fill Wembley, but it'll be fine for your bedroom.  This pack may not come with loads of freebee accessories, but it comes with the essentials and is a very high quality starter pack.
