SPECIAL OFFER - FREE Maintenance/Accessory Pack (worth £55) with this guitar...everything you need to care for your brand new Les Paul! Online orders only.
Gibson first introduced the Les Paul Studio electric guitar in 1983. The idea behind this model was to offer guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including high quality woods, a carved top and punchy humbucking pickups but without all the cosmetics such as binding and fancy inlays that bump the price so much. It's simple, yet elegant design quickly helped it to become the most popular model in the Les Paul series.
The classic Les Paul sound that comes from one of these Studio models is produced by the 490R and 498T Alnico II magnet humbucker pickups, which are mounted into carved Maple top with a Mahogany body. The Rosewood fret board with trapezoidal inlays provides the classic Les Paul look while dual volume and tone controls provide complete control of the instrument's sound.
Unlike older models, the current Les Paul Studio also come with a genuine, high quality Gibson case.
So if you're after that awesome Les Paul tone without having to re-mortgage your house, check out a Studio, you won't be dissapointed.
This Les Paul Studio is finished in a striking Fireburst finish which is complemented by Chrome Hardware. A classic Rock n' Roll looking guitar!

Reviews
The sound produced from the solid Mahogany body, set neck and quality humbucker pickups easily rivals that of a Les Paul Standard. Actually, in a blind fold test, you'd be very hard pushed to tell them apart...although I'm sure the purists out there would argue against me on that one!
So in truth, if you don't mind losing the cosmetics of a Les Paul Standard, such as the binding or fancy flamed tops etc, why not come and check out a Gibson Les Paul Studio at the Nevada Music Warehouse. Let's be honest, these "stripped down" versions of the classic Les Paul design aren't without their own unique charm and appeal, and they'll only cost you half as much ...!
