So here we have the very attractive Gibson Joe Bonamassa Les Paul electric guitar, which has been masterfully finished in a beautiful Antique Gold with the somewhat unusual choice of black plastic pick-up saddles and a black plastic floating scratch plate. The body consists of a chambered Mahogany slab with a carved Maple top ably assisted by a standard 24 3/4 inch scale one-piece Mahogany neck that has creme binding and a 1959 style rounded neck profile ...
The pick-ups on this Gibson Joe Bonamassa Les Paul include a Gibson Burstbucker 2 at the neck and a Gibson Burstbucker 3 in the bridge position to provide classic humbucker tones from Alnico II magnets, as per usual they are controlled by their own tone and volume knobs. However these have been cleverly colour coded with gold top hat knobs for the Burstbucker 3 and Amber top hat knobs for the Burstbucker 2. Other delectable features include kidney shaped Grover machine heads, Dunlop strap locks and of course the aforementioned black plastic cosmetics ...
