The N in the G1XN stands for NEXT as it represents the next generation of compact Zoom multi effects processors. Following on where the original G1X left off, the G1XN is a compact user friendly unit designed for use with electric guitar and features some of the most contemporary and up to date guitar effects. From distortion to Wah this little box is brimming with useful effects, ideal for the newbie the G1XN couldn?t be easier to use, simple bank up and bank down footswitches enable you to quickly switch between the 80 patches of preset and user progammable sounds. The Zoom G1XN features 21 amp and stompbox modules, 54 studio quality effects, famous artist presets and an all new tube modelling engine. Additional features like the built in Rhythm machine and tuner make this more than just an effects pedal and will allow you to make the G1XN the hub of your guitar rig ...

The patches within the Zoom G1XN can be edited easily to create your very own customised effects which you can save in the 40 user locations included, simply dial in your desired effect, tweak the parameters to suit and simply save, then they are available at the touch of a button. The control pedal can be assigned to volume, wah or pitch control, as well as enabling control over other effects parameters.
The option of different amp simulations and stomp box effects means that there are a whole multitude of combinations at your fingertips and you are merely limited by the restrictions of your imagination. No long winded digital menus make this little unit really easy to use, so if you're new to this type of technology the simplicity of operation will instill confidence.
Zoom lead the way in the entry-level effects market, mainly thanks to the fact that they design, build and implement their own custom processor specifically for their FX units. They are currently perhaps the only company who have invested sufficiently in R&D to allow them to be at the forefront of the guitar and bass FX market.

Although Zoom aim their products at the entry-level market point I suspect that the G1NX will turn the heads of a few more experienced platers also. If it pushes your buttons and you're looking for something that has a comprehensive range of effects but won't cost the earth then look no further my friend ...
Zoom offer a value for money pedal in the G1NX that delivers high quality effects in abundance with loads of well programmed pre-sets, all of which are completely adjustable to suit your own personal preference and with plenty of user presets for you to create and then save your favourite sounds.
The drum machine within the G1XN has some fine sounding PCM samples and you'll undoubtedly enjoy playing along to the pre-set rhythms, the chromatic tuner is also a very handy addition and will serve you well during those sweaty on stage sessions where the strings are stretching and slipping out of tune ..
This is a great starting point for those who are new to effects pedals along with more seasoned players and Zoom have really packed in some great features for a very reasonable price .. massive thumbs up to this product, great sounds and fantastic value ..
