The beauty of the pedal lies within its simplistic design and operational parameters along with the myriad of sound and tone options that cover both classic and contemporary settings ...

The Vox Time Machine accurately emulates the old style of tape delay complete with harmonic saturation and distortion just like on tape systems such as the WEM copycat (remember that one ...?) and they have even included a slight modulation to imitate the tape "wobble" that usually occurred where the taped together edit slice passed the tape head(s). The contemporary delay sounds provide a full tonal and frequency range and the sound quality loses nothing when the delayed signal is heard ...

Similarly the Time Machine is fitted with a Hi-Fi/Lo Fi switch where the Hi-fi setting delivers a completely trasparent sound with no EQ or Filtering. However the Lo-Fi setting has had EQ added and frequency filtering so that your guitar sound sits unobtrusively within the mix and blends with other instrumentation.  Delay time is adjustable from 30ms slapback to up to 6 seconds and a Tap Tempo switch will allow the delay to be set as triplets, eight notes dotted eighth notes or quarter notes. There are also two sets of out put jacks - one pair as a "dry" unaffected signal and another pair that carries the delayed signal, these can also be linked to provide even wider spatial delay sounds ...
