Logjam Logarhythm Foot Percussion Stomp Box

Have you ever wondered how you can play drums and guitar at the same time? Now with the Logarhythm from Logjam Music you can!  It's natural to tap your foot along as you strum away...the Logarhythm simply turns that gentle tapping into a huge sounding bassdrum.  Blues and Country players have been using these (usually homemade) "Stomp Boxes" for years, allowing for extra power and rhythm to be added to a solo performance.  One of the more famous artists who have recently brought this type of instrument into the mainstream is Seasick Steve, with his "Mississippi Drum Machine". 

Made from an African hardwood called Sapele and coated with Linseed oil, the Logarhythm is a high quality and unique instrument.  There's no need for batteries or any external power supply, it just plugs it into your amp or PA with a standard guitar cable.  Then all you've got to do is tap your foot on the Logarhythm...in time with the music you're playing, of course!

Depending on the type of shoes you're wearing you will find that the sound of  Logarhythm will change. Hard leather soles will produce a more "toppy" sound than trainers or thick rubber soles. Tapping your foot at different points along the width of the Logarhythm will also produce a tonal variation, so it's a pretty versatile percussion instrument. 
  
Although the base of the unit features a non-slip black gauze pad in order to stop it skating around the stage, there is also rather handy optional extra...check out the Logjam Heel 'n' Toe (sold seperately) for even better adhesion and more tonal/groove versatility! Get stompin'!
