Ibanez TS808 Classic Distortion Pedal
The ?9 Series? of pedals are Ibanez?s return to their roots, all the pedals have been designed to re-create the vintage sounds and tones of a by-gone era. Ibanez first released these pedals over 20 years ago and they have been a favourite with many musicians since, Ibanez wanted to give the modern generation of musicians the opportunity to use these great pedals, so they have been re-released for yet another generation to enjoy.
Distortion Sound Pedal
The tube screamer pedals are a modern classic; you can get that vintage sound of a valve amp from a compact pedal. The Tube screamer pedals work really well though a clean channel of an amp, but to get the really magic to happen, you need to add the tube screamer pedals to amps distortion channel, it then adds more sustain and valve sound even to a solid state amp.
Rhythm & Blues Effects
The TS808 really is the most vintage pedal of the series; it contains the original JRC4558 chip, which was used in the first tube screamers. It gives a brilliant bluesy and light rock tone on its own and works amazingly well when added to the dirty channel of any amp - this is the holy grail of tube screamers.
