This much revered Reverb has - thanks to the Boss COSM technology - now been faithfully re-created in the shape of the Boss FRV-1 pedal. The design and production of this pedal was done in partnership and co-operation with Fender, and as such has their blessing. Originally this Spring Reverb was used to create and shape the sound of "Surf Music" but then went on to be used in country, blues and rockabilly...
The Boss FRV-1 pedal is controlled via 3 rotary controllers (knobs!) to create a wealth of sounds. The Dwell, Tone and Mix controls take your tone from a warm, deep reverb sound to a sparkling twang-type reverb, calling at all stations in between. The chassis is the usual Boss rugged die-cast Aluminium and the pedal sports a stylish retro finish... Check out the demo video here ...
