Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion 

The Boss DS-2 follows on where the classic DS-1 distortion pedal left off. It has all the features of the DS-1 such as adjustable gain and tone control but with the addition of two switchable distortion modes, taking you from blues-rock rhythms to searing leads at the press of a pedal or twist of a knob.    

Remote Switch Distortion

By adding an optional latching footswitch (ideally the Boss FS-5L) it is possible to switch between the two distortion modes without taking your hands off of the guitar. This will definitely prove a welcome option to gigging musicians.

Boss Pedal Strength

As with all of the Boss compact pedals, the DS-2 is made to the usual high standard, perfect for even the largest of feet. Boss are so confident that their pedals are virtually indestructible that they give you a 5 year warranty absolutely FREE! We rarely get one back that has had physical damage

Location: The darkest depths of the Nevada warehouse

The DS-1 is a must have classic distortion pedal as used by Steve Vai and many others but the DS-2 expands on this and takes you to the next level. The extra distortion mode and the remote option makes this pedal much more versatile unit. Go on, step on the turbo!
