Boss BF-3 Flanger Pedal

The Boss BF-2 has been the classic flanger pedal for 20 years. The new BF-3 Flanger offers guitarists and bassists an updated version with thicker stereo flanging sounds and a wider stereo imagery.

In addition to the classic sound, the BF-3 has two new modes (Ultra and Gate/Pan) which create flanging with enhanced depth and slicer-type effects that seem to ?swirl? around the listener. This pedal features four controls which are :-Mode, Manual, Depth and Rate - all of which are controlled by rotary knobs. You can also set the tempo of the effect via the footswitch ....

As with all of the Boss compact pedals, the BF-3 is made to the usual high standards, using rugged die cast metal chassis. In fact Boss are so confident that their pedals are virtually indestructible, that they provide a 5 year warranty ...

We certainly love a bit of Flange here at Nevada !! (Fnar Fnar) ... this pedal picks up where the classic BF-2 left off, offering both vintage and modern flanging sounds. The upgrade includes modern components that have enhanced the sonic capabilities of the pedal, reduced the noise and provided a wider stereo image ...

 

All of this means that the Boss BF-3 is a considerably better sounding Flange Pedal with a greater amount of control and variation of effect, on top of this it still has the Boss road-ready chassis and their 5 year warranty.
