The Blues Driver is like having a bluesy vintage tube amp in a compact pedal; it has a much smoother and natural sound than a lot of the modern pedals around. This creation from Boss gives a very similar tone to some of the vintage Fender amplifiers.

Classic Blues Rock

The pedal has a level, tone and gain control. The level allows you to mix the amount of the signal you want to have, while the tone enables you to select an ideal overall tone. The gain allows you to go from a slightly crunchy sound right up to full on blues rock.

All the Boss pedals that I have ever used have lived up to my expectations and this one is no exception. It’s built like a tank and apart from running over it in a car, will survive anything. Yet the most important part is the sound. If it’s a bluesy tone you’re after, then this is the pedal for you.
