Roland Cube 15XL Electric Guitar Combo Amplifier, Black
Roland have recently upgraded their Cube range of combo amplifiers, the new generation of cubes have several new features such as new effects whilst the higher end models also have amp modeling and a phrase looper. Let's start at the entry level model which is the Roland 15XL ....
The CUBE 15 XL offers 15 watts of power through an 8" high-performance custom designed speaker, there are two discrete channels onboard - clean and lead, with three Boss distortion circuits to choose from, including Metal Zone and the new Extreme setting which provides the choice of 5 amplifier types. As an alternative to the high gain distortion the user can activate the Power Squeezer which allows full gain but at low volume.
Should you wish to you can connect a portable music player such as an MP3 or iPod to the Aux-In jack and jam along with your favourite songs, there's also a direct recording out and a headphone socket for silent practice.
