With a power rating of 12 watts the Orange Crush PiX 12L is the smallest member of the crush series; however don?t let the diminutive size of this amp put you off.

Aesthetically the Orange Crusg PiX 12L amp is covered in Orange?s trademark bright orange vinyl with a black grill covering the 6" speaker and the Orange logo mounted in the centre.  Orange named the new Crush combo's the "PiX"  range because these amps feature the authentic hieroglyphic control symbols which have been unique to Orange amplifiers since the launch of the legendary "Pics Only Graphic" amp head in 1972.

The Orange Crush PiX 12L is a single channel 12w, solid-state combo amp, with three separate equalisation controls (low, mid, high), a master volume control, and two separate gain controls. The operational controls on the Orange Crush PiX 12L are user friendly and intuitive and it shouldn’t take much experimentation before you completely get the hang of this amp. But the real bonus of this amplifier is the sound, the Orange Crush PiX 12 provides a rich variance of guitar tones and thanks to the twin gain options it can emulate subtle blues crunch through to out and out metal shredding.

The Orange Crush PiX 12L amp was tested using a guitar with single coil pick-ups and another model using high gain hum-buckers, both types of guitar gave equally desirable results in both clean and distorted settings.
