Vintage and Modern used together to describe an amplifier is surely a contradiction of terms, however the good people at Marshall have managed to combine both elements within the 2266H Vintage Modern amp head.
The Vintage Modern 2266H amp has classic Marshall tone with the added advantage that the boffins have enhanced the sound and tone options by adding the frequency selective pre-amp volumes so that you can accurately tweak and fine tune the frequencies to arrive exactly at the point you’re seeking.
The original KT66 valves back in the early 70’s were hardy souls and could take being thrown in and out of transit vans in their stride so it's good to see them form part of the specification on this model.
