Product Information
The Line 6 Spider IV guitar amplifiers pick up where the best selling Spider III range left off, advancing what is sonically possible from modeling amplifiers. Featuring complex distortions, and tube-style compression and sophisticated dynamic response, the Spider 4 range represents the most advanced Line 6 amp modeling to date.
Inspired by the sounds of iclassic American, British and European amplifiers, and based on the features that made Spider III amplifiers best sellers, Line 6 Spider IV amps offer an unlimited array of tones ranging from sparkling clean, through rich mid-range crunch just on the verge of breakup, right through to high-gain metal lead tones. Throw in a whole host of quality digital effects, coupled with unparalleled flexibility and editability, and you have some of the best value digital modeling amps currently available.
Spider IV 30 delivers 4 versatile amp models that every guitarist needs:
Channel A delivers crisp clean tones, warm jazz tones and all the high-end shimmer you'll need with a generous amount of bottom end.
Channel B conjures the infamous "Brown sound" inspired by a '68 Marshall Plexi 100-watt with a Variac and jumped input channels.
Channel C offers a one-way ticket to tight and punchy high-gain heaven, inspired by the high-gain tone of a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier.
Channel D offers even more gain, delivering more mid-range teeth for that bone-crushing grind, inspired by the tone of a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier.
As well as the high quality amp models, the Line 6 Spider 4 30 offers 6 editable effects (chorus/flanger, phaser tremolo, sweep echo, tape echo and reverb) that add exceptional colors and textures, a built-in tuner, a three-band EQ section for tone-shaping control, headphone socket, an MP3/CD input and FBV footswitch compatability (footswitch not included). The Spider IV 30 sounds as good at low volumes as it does cranked to the max, putting top quality guitar tones into a lightweight amplifier that's small enough to use in your bedroom, but big enough for rehearsals and small gigs.
Line 6 are proud to announce the launch of Spider Online, a new free online resource for owners of any Spider amplifier. Spider Online offers over 500 lessons, jam tracks and tones created by Line 6, artists and fellow Spider modeling amplifier owners.
?Spider Online is a lot of fun for anyone who owns a Spider amplifier,? remarks Line 6 product manager Scott Waara. ?Players can share tones, play along to great sounding jam tracks, and access a terrific variety of lessons in a wide range of styles. We?re grateful that over a million guitarists own Spider amplifiers, so to thank our customers and keep them inspired musically, we?re excited to make this resource available to them!?
Reviews
The Line 6 Spider IV 30 Watt Guitar Amplifier is the second tier model within the Line 6 Spider range and as such is one of the most affordable, howwever that doesn't mean that the quality is compromised in any way. Line 6 have merely matched the facilities on this digital modeling combo to meet the market price point ...
Line 6 have now established themselves as perhaps the fore-runner in the digital modeling guitar amplifier market and have been producing digital modeling solutions for the last 4 to 5 years. The smart move was to make different amp models available for different budgets and to match differing skill levels so that guitar players can purchase the model that best meets their requirements ...
The Line 6 Spider IV 30 Watt Guitar Practice Amplifier has a basic array of features with 4 amp models and 6 effects but there's still plenty here to wet the appetite and the range and quality of clean, crunch and overdriven sounds is impressive for such a small package. I'd be very surprised if guitar players are unable to find suitable sounds within the Spider IV's range of pre-sets but just in case there are 4 customisable user patches that allow you to store sounds of your own making ...
At this price It's hard to criticise the Line 6 Spider IV - it's a great package for novices and established players alike and perfect for home practice. Check out the Line 6 Spider IV 30 watt amplifier at the Nevada Music Warehouse ...
