Product Information

Yamaha FG720S Acoustic Guitar

The FG720S Acoustic guitar benefits from the technology used in Yamaha’s DW range of acoustic guitars, many of the features derived from Yamaha’s Acoustic Development Research Facility (ADRF) in Nippon have subsequently been adapted to the manufacturing process of other acoustic guitars throughout the range.

The interesting choices of wood used to assemble this instrument (Sitka Spruce & Sycamore) provide a particularly bright and resonant sound when the guitar is strummed. This is further enhanced by the “L” shaped neck block which adds acoustic volume and low frequency tone to balance out the overall sound.

This acoustic guitar bears the hallmark quality that we’ve come to expect from Yamaha, the instrument is well crafted from good raw materials and dependable hardware components. The guitar plays well and is equally comfortable worn with a strap or balanced on the lap; an added bonus is that it can be ordered in a variety of attractive colour finishes. The choice of Sitka & Sycamore woods provide a big sound that’s great for syncopated rhythmical chord work and gives plenty of acoustic sustain.
