Product Information

Takamine G330S Gloss Top Acoustic Guitar Natural

Takamine?s 330S model has a Dreadnought shaped body crafted from Solid Spruce on the top and Nato wood on the sides and rear. The neck is made from Maple and has a Rosewood finger board housing 20 frets with inlaid dot fret markers. The headstock has a Rosewood overlay and utilises chrome sealed unit machine heads ?

The bridge is also constructed from Rosewood complete with a compensated saddle and traditional style bridge pins to hold the strings in place. The body has an attractive binding around the edge that matches the Abalone concentric ringed rosette encircling the sound hole, whilst the cosmetics of the instrument are completed by a black scratch plate and Natural Gloss finish.

The G330S is a loud acoustic guitar – probably due to the large bodied Dreadnought shape and its sound has a good balance of low, mid and top end frequencies without any one in particular being the dominant force.

Takamine take great care in the construction of their instruments and this is acknowledged with the finish on this instrument. A decorative Spruce top with an expert Gloss finish makes for a very attractive acoustic guitar, the frets are well dressed and the neck generally plays very well.

Although this model lies at the entry point of the Takamine range it looks and feels like an instrument that is considerably more expensive. Takamine has a global credibility as the creator of fine acoustic instruments and the G330S does little to tarnish that credibility. This is a very fine acoustic guitar, try it and I’m sure you’ll like it …
