Takamine 2010 Limited Edition Miyabi Electro Acoustic Guitar
Takamines Limited range began back in 1987. Every year since then they have produced a limited run of high end guitars with unique appointments that will never be manufactured again. This ensures that those who purchase will belong to a very select group, with the pleasant side effect of owning an instrument that'll most likely turn into a very nice little investment piece!
This gorgeous guitar's Ivoroid bound top is select solid Sitka Spruce and has scalloped X bracing. Back and sides are Rosewood (the back is solid and bound in Ivoroid). The Mahogany neck is topped with an Ivoroid bound Ebony fret board and carries 20 Nickle Silver frets plus unique Kimono Cloth inlays and a Bone nut. Kimono Cloth is also used to face the headstock along with a gold Takamine logo and six Gold plated open gear machine heads.
Kimono cloth is again used for the pick guard and sound hole Rosette. The bridge is made from Rosewood and has white pins and a compensated Bone saddle. Sound comes from the Takamine CoolTube Pre-amp providing bass, parametric mid and treble controls along with an on-board chromatic tuner.
