Originating from the 1940s, the Gibson J-45 Electro-Acoustic guitar is still the choice of top recording artists and session players. It's a compact guitar with soft shoulders and a short scale (24-3/4"). The J-45 features scalloped and tuned bracing, body binding, Mother-of-Pearl dot markers, and vintage nickel machine heads.
The top of the J-45 is crafted from solid Sitka Spruce, whilst the back and sides are solid Honduran Mahogany, with the bridge and fretboard made from Rosewood. The instrument comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs pick-up for amplified gigs and also includes a deluxe Gibson hardshell case -normally worth £130.00.The example shown here is finished in Vintage Sunburst ....
