Nevada Music 2010 Summer Jam - lessons for kids under 16
Under 16’s will receive a special welcome at Nevada Music throughout the School Summer holidays.
From 26th July, Nevada will be re-introducing their previously successful Free Guitar and Drum Taster lessons. The lessons are a great way for kids to try an instrument before committing to lessons or the expense of making a instrument purchase.
Taking place throughout the Summer holidays from 10am Monday to Friday, starting on the 26th July until 31st August. Under 16’s will be able to book places on the ‘Summer Jam’, targeted towards complete beginners.
With evidence to prove that children who learn an instrument will gain better academic results than their peers who don’t, Nevada Music was one of the first music retailers to sign up to the Government’s Music Manifesto. At a local level they have made a pledge to encourage school children to learn an instrument with its own ‘Music for Schools’ initiative.
The ‘Summer Jam’ is part the same programme that won Nevada the prestigious “Best Industry Initiative” from the Music Industry Association. The initiative supports local schools with sponsorship, awards and lessons bringing music classes into the store.
