The Roland TD20KX Electronic Drum Kit is the flagship model within the V-Drums range and therefore as you'd expect it has the most stunning quality drum sounds of the entire model range. The new generation of drum samples are quite simply the most sonically perfect and natural drum sounds that I have ever heard and I would defy anyone in a blind test to be able to differntiate them from an actual acoustic kit.
However it's not just the amazing drum samples that makjes the TD-20KX a remarkable electronic drum kit, Roland in their wisdom have also improved and enhanced many of the features of the older TD-20 model starting with the MDS-25 drum stand which besides being stronger and sturdier presents the user with increased hardware attachment options ...
The percussion model that lays at the heart of this drum kit is the Roland TD20-X that includes the recently released TD-20 Percussion Expansion Board which is now included as standard on the TD20-KX. Roland have also dressed up the actual cosmetic appearance of the trigger pads which have been finished with an industrial brushed metal finish to match the chrome drum rack and silver coloured cymbals and will undoubtedly look much funkier under stage lights. Furthermore Roland have released the option of Blue or Red "Wraps" that wrap-around the drum shells to give other colour options ...
