Kits Available in Blue, Red or...
With drum kits often costing in excess of £500, getting started on the drums can often be a daunting prospect. However, as with most instruments, there are a number of very good products on offer at a far more affordable price.
Ideal Beginners Drum Sets
Cheap drum kits are an ideal way to introduce a complete novice to the world of percussion. We currently have junior kits for as little as £100 and full-size complete sets for around £250; significantly cutting the costs when compared to instruments at the other end of the range. Therefore if you're looking to take up the drums and you're on a strict budget, or are not entirely sure whether you, or whoever you are buying for, will continue long in to the future, our cheap beginner's drums may well be the ideal solution.
As with most things, cheap drum kits come with a reduced price tag for a reason. Ordinarily this gulf in prices can be simply attributed to materials and design. In a more expensive set you will find products made from the best materials with complimentary designs to create optimal acoustics; whilst cheaper drum kits will use a more generic blueprint with materials used primarily for function. This said, the range of beginners drum kits we stock at Nevada Music are of an extremely decent grade, perfectly suited to a beginner getting to grips with the percussion instrument.
Ready To Play
Beginner kits also come with the added advantage of having everything a drummer needs to get started. Symbols, snares and the full range of drums are all included; whereas more expensive kits tend to omit certain apparatus, requiring additional pieces to complete the set. Of course, what is included is of a better standard, however if investing a large chunk of money on a first drum kit is abhorrent to you, then the cheaper option may well be more suited.
Upgrading Your Kit
One of the many joys of a drum kit is found in its versatility. Even with cheap drums a user can easily upgrade the individual component parts if they become overly worn or don't produce those magic notes any longer. Therefore over time as you become a more adept drummer with a greater range of skills you can assemble your ideal kit in parallel with your continued musical development.
