Beginner Acoustic Guitars

Getting started with any instrument is always a challenge, regardless of the particular variety. Learning the fundamentals can take time and a great deal of practice, which probably accounts for why many people ultimately give up. Therefore in these formative stages you may not want to make a significant outlay, which is where purchasing a cheaper instrument can often be an ideal compromise.

Limitations of Entry Level Instruments

When purchasing an instrument, as with most things in life, you often get what you pay for. Cheap acoustic guitars are a great way to get some practice on the chords, getting a feel for the instrument and accustoming yourself to the sounds produced; but in truth they offer only a comparatively low level of quality compared to top-of-the-range models.

Cheap instruments cannot often produce the same clarity of notes, often due to inferior design and materials. However, whilst they may follow a generic design and lack some of the same resonance, the fundamental blueprint is the same; allowing beginner guitarists an affordable way of getting to grips without unnecessary expense.

Reasonably Priced Beginners Guitars

Although Nevada Music has built a reputation for providing the best instruments from top brands, we also supply a variety of inexpensive guitars for the aspiring Hendrix's, Vai's and Clapton's out there. We offer a range of decent products under £100 designed specifically with the beginner in mind. So whether you are looking for a full-size, ¾ size or even a ukulele, there are plenty of cheap acoustic guitars for people of all ages and sizes.

Great Starting Place

A cheap instrument is unlikely to see the user through an entire illustrious career; it should probably be replaced once a decent level of competency has been reached. Whether purchasing that first guitar for you, or perhaps more pertinently, a child, there is no guarantee that interest will continue beyond learning the first few chords and a couple of basic songs. Therefore you shouldn't really require a high specification guitar built from the finest materials, which can cost anywhere up to £1000. Beginner's guitars may be basic, but they provide an excellent starting point from which your burgeoning talent can one day flourish.
