This is an instrument for the discerning player who is looking for a bass that combines great aesthetics, beautiful playing action and exceptional sound quality rolled into a single package and whilst I will admit that this bass isn't cheap, you are getting one hell of an instrument for your hard earned beer tokens.
The 35" scale neck is constructed from three pieces of Maple for extreme stability and is topped by a solid Rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl inlays whilst the contoured Alder body features a luscious, quilted Maple top. The Yamaha TRB1004 is fitted with two custom-designed Alnico magnet hum-bucking soapbar pickups, an active 3-band EQ, and a pick-up pan pot. Black hardware, including a solid brass bridge for enhanced sustain, adds the finishing touch.
