The Yamaha APX1000 shown here in a stunning Crimson Red Burst finish has a slimline body with a Spruce top and Flamed Maple back and sides, the fretboard is Rosewood and has decorative split-triangle inlays for fret orientation. The SRT System 63 preamp fitted to the Yamaha APX1000 electro-acoustic guitar provides three different high-end mic types as well as mic positioning and provides detailed, focussed sound by the blending of the microphone sound with the existing piezo pickup sound and then adjusting the body resonance parameter. The microphone models are created using data collected from the Neuman U67 vintage large diaphragm condenser microphone, the Neuman KM56 vintage small diaphragm condenser microphone, and the Royer R-122 ribbon microphone - all of which produce high quality audio reproduction.
