Product Information

Traben Chaos 4 Bass Guitar Black Wash

Traben seem to have come from nowhere in the UK during the last few years and have quickly established themselves as a credible brand producing fine, affordable bass guitars that have eye-catching cosmetics and bone-rattling deep bass sounds largely thanks to the humungously large bridge design and construction ...

The Traben Choas 4 has a beautifully contoured Basswood body with a delightful flamed Maple top giving a stylish and contemporary look to this instrument, the bolt-on 34"scale neck uses Maple with a Rosewood fretboard hosting 24 medium jumbo frets and has inlaid pearloid dot markers for fret orientation.

There are two Traben humbucking pick-ups located in the centre of the body and these are ably assisted by theTraben T3 Active pre-amp, there's also 3 band EQ from the rotary control knobs and a 5-position pick-up selector switch. On of Traben's distinguishing features is the enormous external bridge which in fact also has its own internal bridge to create a greater mass, as Traben will argue that the bonding of the bridge to the instrument body and the increased mass equals better tone, resonance and much longer sustain from enhanced string vibration ....

There's only one way to find out if this is true ... get yourself down to the Nevada Music Warehouse and have a play of the Traben Chaos 4 Bass guitar ...
