Product Information
Squier Matt Freeman Signature Precision Bass Guitar Vintage White MN
For those of you that are unaware, Matt Freeman is something of a punk legend and is respected for his bass work with bands such as Rancid, Operation Ivy and, more recently, Devils Brigade, and Squier now honours him and his sound with the Squier Matt Freeman Signature Precision Bass.
This signature instrument is modeled after his beloved and battle-hardened mid-’70s Precision bass, therefore Freeman’s Squier signature model features a traditional split-single-coil pickup, a contoured Basswood body in Black or Vintage White (depicted here...) with a vintage-tint gloss fast-action Maple neck.
The 20-fret Maple fingerboard on the Squier Matt Freeman Precision has a contemporary 9.5” radius, a period correct (mid-70's style) HiMass bridge with four brass barrel saddles and a three-ply black-white-black pickguard. The whole cosmetic vibe of this bass guitar brings back the high energy essence of the 1970's punk era, and the no-frills lay-out of the Squier Matt Freeman Signature bass will allow you to focus on a dynamic performance with your Squier bass ...
