Squier Classic Vibe '60's Precision Bass Fiesta Red - Rosewood fretboard
For those of us who can't quite stretch to a full blown Fender Precision Bass then probably the next best thing is a Squier Precision model. As most musicians know, Squier is the sister company to Fender and as such is licensed to reproduce authentic copies under the "Squier by Fender" brand name. The advantage to musicians is that they will receive an instrument that has the same quality and attention to detail as the Fender models ...
The body has been crafted from basswood with a Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard hosting 20 vintage style frets with inlaid dot position markers. Sound comes courtesy of a Custom Precision bass split Single-Coil pick-up with Alnico V magnets and this is managed via a single volume and tone control.
This bass guitar has some authentic 1960's style features such as the oversized headstock and the scratch plate mounted thumb-rest, the Fiesta Red finish and tortoise shell scratch plate is also very swinging 1960's ... You just need the flowered shirts and velvet loons to complete the look ...
